Kabaka Foundation Sponsors Symposium to Mark International Day for Persons with Disabilities

On December 3rd, 2024, Kabaka Foundation proudly partnered with the University of Ghana’s Centre for Disability Studies and Advocacy to commemorate the International Day for Persons with Disabilities. The event, held in Accra, featured a thought-provoking symposium that brought together advocates, academics, and stakeholders to highlight issues affecting persons with disabilities and promote inclusive development.

A Platform for Advocacy and Awareness

The symposium served as a platform to discuss critical topics, including accessibility, rights advocacy, and the empowerment of persons with disabilities. By sponsoring this event, Kabaka Foundation reiterated its commitment to fostering a more inclusive society where individuals with disabilities can thrive.

Collaboration for Change

The University of Ghana’s Centre for Disability Studies and Advocacy expressed gratitude for Kabaka Foundation’s generous support, noting that the sponsorship made it possible to bring together diverse voices to discuss actionable solutions for disability inclusion.
