On June 3rd, 2024, Kabaka Foundation celebrated a momentous occasion by officially handing over a newly constructed church building to the Kwahu Nkwatia Methodist congregation. The event, held in Kwahu Nkwatia, marked a significant milestone in the foundation’s commitment to supporting community development through spiritual and social infrastructure.

A Place for Worship and Community Growth

The newly constructed church is more than just a building—it is a sanctuary for spiritual growth, a hub for fellowship, and a beacon of hope for the Kwahu Nkwatia community. The facility was carefully designed to accommodate the growing congregation and provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for worship and community activities.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, the CEO of Kabaka Foundation highlighted the importance of faith and community in driving transformation:
“Our mission is to radiate the love of God through acts of kindness and service. This church is not just a physical structure but a symbol of hope and unity for the people of Kwahu Nkwatia. We pray it becomes a place where lives are transformed and faith is strengthened.”

Community Rejoices

The handover ceremony was attended by members of the Methodist congregation, local leaders, and representatives of Kabaka Foundation. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and joy as the congregation expressed their appreciation for the foundation’s generosity and dedication.

Rev. Samuel Owusu, the head pastor of the Kwahu Nkwatia Methodist Church, shared his heartfelt thanks:
“This church is a dream come true for our community. It will serve as a cornerstone for our spiritual lives and a place where everyone feels welcome. We are deeply thankful to Kabaka Foundation for making this possible.”

A Testament to Faith and Service

The church project reflects Kabaka Foundation’s commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen communities and foster spiritual growth. By providing a space for worship, the foundation aims to inspire hope and promote values of love, compassion, and service in line with its mission.
