On January 1st, 2024, Kabaka Foundation Ghana welcomed the new year with an inspiring act of kindness, donating essential items to 300 beneficiaries, including the aged, widows, and persons with disabilities, in Kwahu Nkwatia. This heartwarming initiative reflects the foundation’s mission to spread hope and love through service and compassion, transforming lives in meaningful ways.
A Celebration of Hope and Inclusion
The event, held at the community center in Kwahu Nkwatia, brought smiles and joy to the beneficiaries as they received packages containing food items, clothing, toiletries, and assistive devices for persons with disabilities. It was more than just a donation drive; it was a celebration of community, shared blessings, and renewed hope for the year ahead.
The CEO of Kabaka Foundation expressed gratitude to all supporters and volunteers who made the event possible, emphasizing the importance of standing with vulnerable groups in society.
“As we enter 2024, we are reminded of our responsibility to care for those who need us most. This is our way of showing that no one is forgotten and that together, we can create a brighter future,” he said.
Stories of Impact
The beneficiaries, many of whom face daily challenges due to age, disability, or loss, shared heartfelt words of gratitude.
Ama Nyarko, a widow who received a package, said, “This support means so much to me and my children. It gives us hope to keep moving forward.”
For Kofi, a person with a disability, the assistive device he received was life-changing. “I can now move around easily and do things on my own. This is a blessing,” he shared with a grateful smile.
